San Lorenzo
The Basilica of san Lorenzo is one of the largest churches of Florence, situated at the centre of the city main market area. It is one of the oldest churches in Florence; at the time of its consecration, in 393, it stood outside the city walls. San Lorenzo was also the parish church of the Medici family.
